Ferienstudio Heidi is currently being renovated and fitted out with as many modern amenities as possible, so that you can relax in comfort and recharge your batteries. Here’s a glimpse of what the studio looked like before the renovation.

Select colours
We produced various colour samples and tested them in the Ferienstudio at different times to see which colour we liked best.

Below you can see the three colours we’d like to use for the walls and ceiling. The leather colour sample on the left-hand side of the wall will be the colour of the sofa. You can also see small pieces of the laminate flooring we’ll be laying on the floor.

Choosing a kitchen
We’re currently in the process of choosing a kitchen. Below you can see the style of kitchen we’ve decided on. The worktop, the handles and the splashback will look different. Also, the kitchen won’t be quite as tall.

Update: The kitchen has been ordered! Below you can see a first impression. The kitchen will be equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, and dishwasher. The floor and walls will look different later. To the right, there is also a door to the bathroom and a passageway to another room (these are not shown in the drawing).

Choosing fold-out beds
We’ve looked at lots of folding beds. Below is an example of a fold-out bed with a sofa. We won’t be getting that one, but something similar. The mattresses will be 210 cm long :).

Removing 200 kilograms of wooden slats from the ceiling
We removed 200 kilograms of wooden slats from the ceiling.

Once we had removed the coverings, we realised that the stucco on the ceiling hadn’t been properly fixed in place back then. All the stucco is being removed. To be continued!
